1. Who we are, who you are
Intspec is operated by Ing. arch. Marko Rimár, a sole proprietor established in Slovakia ("we", "us"). You can reach us
at hello@intspec.studio.
Intspec is a tool for professionals — interior designers, specifiers, architects, studios. By
creating an account you confirm that you use it for your trade, business or profession, not as
a consumer. Consumer protection rules that apply only to consumers therefore do not apply; in
their place we offer the refund policy in section 7.
2. The service
Intspec fetches the product pages behind the links you paste, extracts a structured set of
product data from them, lets you organise it into spec pages, and exports those pages as
documents and read-only share links. The product is in early access: features may change, and
some described here (paid upgrades, a payment provider) open later. We tell you in the app
when they do.
3. Your account
- You need a working email address, and you keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it was
compromised.
- One person, one account. Studio accounts with several seats are a separate, later offering.
- You can delete the account at any time in Settings; deletion is immediate and cannot be
undone.
4. Acceptable use, and how we fetch supplier pages
Intspec reads product pages that suppliers publish for exactly this purpose: so that
specifiers can use the products. Our position, so you know what you are agreeing to:
- We fetch one page per link you paste, when you paste it, on your instruction. Intspec never
crawls a site, never follows links on its own, and never fetches on a schedule.
- Fetches are rate-limited per site and per user so that no supplier sees more from us than a
person with a browser would produce.
- Fetched pages are processed in memory and not stored. What we keep is the product data you
asked for, attributed to the link it came from.
- Product images are displayed from the supplier's servers, with the link to the page they
came from, not copied.
You agree to use the service within these limits. In particular you will not:
- use Intspec to copy a supplier's catalogue wholesale, to build a competing database, or to
fetch pages you have no right to access (pages behind a login you are not entitled to, for
example);
- paste links to content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone's rights;
- try to get around the extraction allowance, rate limits or plan boundaries, or to access
another account's data;
- probe, scan or load-test the service without our written agreement;
- resell the service or offer it to others as your own.
Suppliers' own terms may restrict how their product data is used. You are responsible for
using the extracted data within the rights you have; we can't check that for you. If a
supplier asks us not to fetch its pages, we honour that and tell you which links are affected.
5. Your content and ours
The links, values, notes, spec pages and documents you create are yours. You give us the right
to store, process and display them only as needed to run the service for you and the people
you share with. We own the software, the field schema and the way the service works, and you
get a non-exclusive right to use them while you have an account.
Extracted data may be wrong. Extraction is automated; a supplier's page can be
ambiguous, out of date, or in a language the model misreads. Every value carries a confidence and
a link back to its source so you can check it. Review the values before you put them in front of
a client or an order. Intspec is not a substitute for the supplier's own specification sheet.
6. Plans, prices and payment
- The plans and what they include are listed on the pricing page, which is the authoritative list; these terms don't repeat the numbers.
- Prices exclude VAT. VAT is added at checkout where the law requires it; a valid EU VAT
number of a business outside Slovakia lets us apply the reverse charge.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Creem,
which handles cards, invoices and tax on our behalf. We never see your card details.
- Included extractions reset each billing month and do not carry over. An extraction that
fails on our side — the page could not be read — is returned to your allowance
automatically.
- If a payment fails we tell you and retry; after a reasonable number of failed attempts the
account returns to the Free plan, and your projects stay where they are.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your
next billing period after the notice.
7. Refunds and cancellation
- 14-day refund. If a paid plan turns out not to be right
for you, write to us within 14 days of your first payment for that plan and
we refund it, once per customer. The refund is in full when you have used no more than
50 extractions in that time. If you have used more, we deduct the extractions
used at the current top-up rate and refund the rest. Top-ups are refunded for the unused part
only. This is a promise we make voluntarily, since business customers don't have a statutory right
of withdrawal.
- Cancel any time. Cancelling stops future charges; the plan stays active until
the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account returns to Free with your
projects intact.
- Beyond the 14 days, payments for periods already started are not refunded, except
where we ended the service or the law requires it.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep Intspec available and back the database up nightly, but we don't promise a
specific uptime during early access. Planned maintenance is announced in the app where we can.
Support is by email at hello@intspec.studio; see the support page for what to include.
9. What we are liable for
We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for anything
the law does not allow us to exclude. Beyond that, our liability to you for any claim
connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the
event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost business, or for
decisions made on extracted data you did not review.
10. Ending the agreement
You end it by deleting your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks section 4,
after telling you what the problem is, unless the breach is serious enough that we must act at
once. If we close the service or end your account for another reason, we give you at least 30
days' notice and a way to export your data.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. For changes that matter to you we give
notice in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the
service after that means you accept them. If you don't, you can delete your account before the
change applies.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Disputes go to the courts of the Slovak Republic,
unless mandatory law gives you a different forum. Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy, which is part of this agreement.
